Carrie is a founding board member of the Gordon Square Arts District. She is a neighborhood resident for the past 11 years and former  president of the Cleveland Public Theater board.

Carrie understands community development and grant making as a former Senior Vice President, Regional Director of Public Affairs for Citizens Bank. She has led public affairs and media efforts at the Children’s Rights in New York, for the Center for Families and Children, Planned Parenthood, and worked for U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown.

Carrie was named to Crain’s Cleveland Business Forty under 40, recognized with the YWCA Woman of Professional Excellence award and is a graduate of the Leadership Cleveland. She presently  serves on the board of the Cleveland Foundation and the Cleveland Food Bank.

Fred Bidwell and Paul Clark, Co-Chairs

Fred Bidwell, co-chair of the GSAD board along with PNC President Paul Clark, brings decades of experience in the arts, branding and marketing to the organization.

Fred served as owner and CEO of Malone Advertising, interim CEO of the Cleveland Museum of Art, and is currently the owner and director of the Transformer Station art gallery and museum in Hingetown, the emerging neighborhood abutting the Gordon Square Arts District, which he developed with his wife Laura Ruth Bidwell to house their extensive art collection.

Paul Clark, co-chair of the GSAD board along with art collector Fred Bidwell, is the regional president for PNC Bank in Cleveland. In addition to his banking responsibilities, he also leads the bank’s local community involvement efforts, including its commitment to its signature Grow Up Great early childhood initiative and its unique PNC Fairfax Connection community services center.

GSAD’s previous leadership includes Co-Chairmen of the Board Richard Pogue and David Doll, and Honorary Campaign Chairs Albert Ratner, Richard Pogue and Tom Sullivan.
